What type of music is covered at EssentialMetal.com?

The main purpose of this site is my Release pages - to let you know about new and upcoming releases in hard rock and heavy metal.

I do not like black metal, traditional death metal or most extreme metal, so there will not be release dates, news or info on this type of metal. I am also not a big fan of most metal core bands.

My main focus on this site is hard rock, traditional heavy metal, power and progressive metal, thrash metal, melodic death metal, doom/goth metal and some hard core.
